GAP
(Gateway After-school Programs) centers operate in each
of the districts seven school sites. The centers are
open after school, on scheduled weekends and will also be
open during the summer. GAP centers offer a variety of activities
and academic opportunities to students and community members.
The centers allow students to build on their classroom experiences,
expand their horizons, contribute to their communities and
have FUN! GAP offers innovative after school enrichment
programs for school age children and community members in
the Alaska Gateway School District. Our program offers children
the opportunity to gain new skills, build meaningful relationships,
increase their self-esteem, participate in character building
activities, and have a lot of fun!
